In the first drawing challenge of 2025, we will be working on this adorable bay foal.
 
There are two main focuses for this challenge, the first being colour theory; how use opposing colours to bring balance and depth to your work and also we will look at how to achieve smooth yet subtle colour transitions which create the form.
 
I adore sharing these challenges with you and teaching you my tips and tricks to adding a tonne of depth and detail whilst still keeping strong lighting and soft colour gradients.
 
What the challenge includes and how is it different from my usual masterclasses? 
 
Whilst this class has the same fundamentals of a masterclass, the key aim is to teach a different element each month that many of us struggle with eg. colour theory. The idea of the challenge is to help you to improve with each aspect so you can take the knowledge and use it on future drawings.
 
So consider this more of a mini lesson...
